An attempt to bring depth to the popular bumper-sticker slogan referenced in the title, this book may not meet reader expectations. The anonymous authors present simple lessons loosely based on Jesus's teachings in one to two page chapters (No Spirituality, No Peace-Know Spirituality, Know Peace, etc.), but they spend less time focusing on ""knowing"" Jesus than on ruminating about morals and making broad suggestions for how to better the ailing world (""Let's not complain about the world's lack of fairness. Let's be fair and create peace and harmony""). Jesus here seems less like a guiding force and more like an afterthought: most references to him appear in Bible verse epigrams at the beginning of each chapter, and the principles are feebly backed up with stories often not related to him at all. Reminders to treat family members with love, give to the needy, have faith when in despair and live humbly are well meant, but they could have been presented in a more engaging and meaningful way.
