My Bye Bye Bottle Bk

This quartet of board books is geared toward helping children over some of the hurdles of toddlerhood--relinquishing the bottle, sharing with friends, eating with a spoon and fork, etc.--by depicting small fry in related situations. The children in the full-color photographs are appealing, and the shots have a nice spontaneity to them, although some seem a bit fuzzy--either due to the camera's soft-focus lens or because they don't reproduce well on heavy-stock cardboard. Rhyming texts are bouncy, if occasionally awkward. Ages 2-4. (Oct.)
