Yellow, humanoid figures with lemon-shaped heads play hosts in this wide-ranging guide to dinosaurs, part of the Questions series (The Book of Which, The Book of Where), which uses a question and answer format to address a variety of dinosaur-themed topics. The 50 questions in this offering range from general (“Why aren’t there any dinosaurs at the zoo?”) to particular: “Which dinos honked through their heads?” (Answer: hadrosaurs used their hollow head crests “like a musical instrument to make honking noises.”) The brightly colored illustrations have a flat and somewhat generic cartoon aesthetic, but the book yields a generous amount of information.
