Abducted!: The Story of the Intruders Continues

Debbie Jordan. Carroll & Graf Publishers, $21 (268pp) ISBN 978-0-7867-0129-2

Hopkins's 1987 book, Intruders, told the stories of two Indiana sisters, who were identified only as Kathie and Laura Davis, and their experiences with alien visitation and genetic manipulation. Here Debbie Jordan (``Kathie'') and Kathy Mitchell (``Laura'') go public and continue their recollections, climaxing with the account of Debbie's impregnation by a space alien in 1977 and seeing her semihuman child in 1983. But first the authors, in alternating chapters, relate incidents involving prescience, poltergiest activity, channeling, levitation, telepathy, ghostly apparitions, reincarnation, a near-death experience and a dream of walking on water. The inclusion of virtually every topic in the world of the paranornal is enough to overwhelm the credibility of even those who are open-minded on the subject. (Sept.)
