Clarence and the Great Surprise

Jean Eckman Adams returns to the range with Clarence and the Great Surprise. In this follow-up to Clarence Goes Out West and Meets a Purple Horse, Smokey (the horse) leads Clarence (the pig) on a desert adventure. But the search for the ""great surprise"" is sidelined when their new-found friend, a dancing dog, goes missing. (Sept.)
