This curious volume, which presents 68 color reproductions of artworks depicting sporting activities, is the catalogue for the inaugural exhibition of the new National Art Museum of Sport in Indianapolis, of which Rhodes is the director. Because the works have been chosen by over 50 museum directors around the country, the book lacks a coherent vision.
