Now employed by a major London wedding planner, Isabel goes behind the back of her snooty boss, Pippa Everitt, to try to woo a B-list bride-to-be, Summer Shelley, as her own client. Meanwhile, Isabel gets involved with a reluctant bride, Licky, who introduces Isabel to her rakish cousin, Dan, with whom Isabel engages in the sort of insulting banter that proves they're really attracted to each other. On the same day, Isabel manages to ruin Pippa's current celebrity wedding and ensure that Licky won't marry her boorish fiancé. To add to her woes, Isabel's lawyer boyfriend, Will, is oddly reluctant to propose.
