Baby, Where Are You?

Photographs and simple cartoons work in tandem in this interactive board book. A photo of an adult animal appears on the left side of each spread, asking variations on the title’s question, e.g. “Baby giraffe, where are you?” Opposite, four small flaps display cartoon animals (in this case, a baby deer, hedgehog, duck, and giraffe), with their photographic counterparts hidden beneath. Since the cartoons make the answer to each question quite clear, it’s more of a pointing game than a guessing game, but there’s plenty of enjoyment to be had unveiling the painfully cute animal photos under the flaps.
