St Therese of Liseux a Transforma

Thomas Keating, Author Lantern Books $10 (96p) ISBN 978-1-930051-20-1
The writings of St. Th r se of Lisieux have influenced thousands of people, including American Catholic convert Dorothy Day and Pope John Paul II, who made a pilgrimage to Lisieux in her honor in 1980. Of late there has been a rekindled interest in the precocious Th r se, who entered the convent at the age of 15 and died of tuberculosis at 26. Despite its title, St. Th r se of Lisieux: A Transformation in Christ is not a biography and is only loosely based on the writings of the French nun. Thomas Keating explores several parables of Christ from the New Testament, making occasional connections with St. Th r se's small corpus of writings. ( Jan.)
