Big Stone Gap Is Back

by Daisy Maryles -- Publishers Weekly, 8/6/2001

Adriana Trigiani, award-winning playwright and former producer of The Cosby Show, knows Big Stone Gap, Va.—it's not just the setting of her first novel, Big Stone Gap, it's her home town. The book is back on the list for a 13th week and Ballantine's total in print is about 200,000. A Ballantine Reader's Circle trade paperback, it includes a chapter from her new hardcover, Big Cherry Holler. Trigiani's been on the road for a few months, as her 10-city tour for Big Stone Gap segued into a 26-city tour for Big Cherry Holler.
