Douglas Stone, 54

Douglas Stone, co-owner of the short-run printer Odyssey Press of Dover, N.H., died September 11 when the airplane he was on, American Airlines flight 11, crashed into the World Trade Center. He was 54. Stone began his printing career at Trend Offset Printing in Los Angeles before moving in 1987 to Capital City Press in Montpelier, Vt., as comptroller. He founded Odyssey Press in 1989. A scholarship fund is being established at Dover High School in his memory, and donations may be sent to the Douglas J. Stone Scholarship Fund, c/o Odyssey Press, Crosby Rd., Dover, N.H. 03820.
