For mainstream politics, CNN and Time's All Politics Web site (http://AllPolitics.com) is comprehensive in the extreme, with archived reports on the past primaries, pictures, polls and more. RealCom (http://www.rtis.com/nat/pol/) is a great site, with hyperlinked information on every political shading from extreme left to extreme right: Pat Paulsen's perennial presidential campaign, the Communist Party (U.S. and South African), anarchists and the highly rated (Point Survey and Magellan) John Birch Society Page. There's even stuff on the Democrats and Republicans.
