Judith Regan to Publish 'Nicole's Story'

A front-page exclusive confirmation of Judith Regan's $1-million bid for Nicole's Story, to be written by Nicole Brown Simpson's sister, Denise Brown, was released to the New York Post last week. PW had heard two weeks ago that Regan was so hot for the book that she was calling agent Frank Weimann from her vacation. Regan, who managed to fend off at least one other interested publisher, plans to publish the book, which includes excerpts from Nicole's infamous diary as well as family photos, in the fall with a 250,000 first printing. Brown plans to donate part of the book's proceeds to the foundation founded in her sister's name.
