Morrow Buys Clone Book

-- Publishers Weekly, 3/17/1997

Morrow senior editor Toni Sciarra made the winning high-six-figure bid for the proposed Hello Dolly: The Story of a Clone, written by Gina Kolata, the New York Times reporter who broke the story of the successful cloning of a sheep. Sciarra plans an early 1998 publication. "We're going to launch this in a big way," said Sciarra. "I think it's going to be the book about cloning." Kolata was represented in the deal by agent John Brockman.
