This Little Book has 10 Million in Print

-- Publishers Weekly, 5/5/1997

The Life's Little Instruction Book series that inspired a whole new genre of books -- collections of advice attractively packaged in small paper format -- is "dressing up" to celebrate sales of 10 million for the three trade paperback volumes that began with the 1991 first volume by H. Jackson Brown Jr., who penned a collection of advice for his college-bound son. Published by Rutledge Hill Press, Volume I was on the national charts for more than two years, about half of that time in the lead position. Rutledge is marking the sales milestone with a leatherbound $19.95 edition -- The Complete Life's Little Instruction Book, that combines all three volumes of advice in one. While all three books have done very well, the first collection was the strongest, with sales of seven million in 26 countries and 28 languages.
