A Mother's Day Affair

by Judy Quinn, with Dick Donahue -- Publishers Weekly, 6/2/1997

Bantam carefully timed Amanda Quick's latest historical romance, Affair, for Mother's Day and came up smelling like roses. Quick's 13th novel now has 180,000 copies in print after three trips to press. She writes contemporary women's fiction under her real name, Jayne Anne Krentz, and she is one of the reigning queens in the romance genre, according to her publisher. (With her cumulative sales of more than 22 million, few will dispute that claim.) Bantam also reports that the author has racked up 22 New York Times bestsellers-a figure that the publisher expects to climb higher next spring when it releases the 14th Quick romance, With This Ring.
