Daniel Silva's New Deal

Pleased by the success of the author's first effort, The Unlikely Spy, Villard publisher David Rosenthal has signed Daniel Silva to another two-book deal to add to his current $1.5 million, two-book deal, both negotiated by agent Esther Newberg. Silva, executive producer of CNN's Crossfire, will fulfill every aspiring writer's dream by quitting his day job later this month. Silva's next thriller is scheduled for next summer.
