Into the Woods

It's a feat that not too many authors manage, but this week Stuart Woods is represented simultaneously on our hardcover and paperback lists. His newest suspense yarn, Dead in the Water, and the mass market edition of Dirt both carry an August 28 pub date from HarperCollins; the former has 110,000 copies in print after two printings, and the latter went on sale with a 600,000-copy first printing. The author embarks September 4 on a five-city tour, and he'll be a speaker at the SEBA show in Mobile, Ala., on September 21.
