Sidrane to Lead U.S. Media Holdings

Michelle Sidrane has been named president and CEO of U.S. Media Holdings. In the new post, Sidrane will oversee U.S. Media's book publishing properties-Stewart, Tabori &Chang and Smithmark Publishers-as well as the calendar publisher Golden Turtle Press. Sidrane, who resigned as president and publisher of the Crown Publishing Group in May 1996 (News, May 13, 1996), will begin her new job February 23, and she will report directly to the U.S. Media board.
