Published on March 9 by Bantam with an initial printing of 147,500, Miracle Cure is the author's fastest out-of-gate book, making it onto the national charts after just a partial week on sale. Palmer, a former ER doctor, now works at the Massachusetts Medical Society, helping other doctors overcome their substance-abuse problems-a prevalent issue in the medical community that also affects Miracle Cure's main character. Dr. Palmer is currently prepping for a 10-city publicity tour for his eighth medical thriller, which will include an appearance on ABC-TV's Good Morning America.
