Distributed Art Publishers has established a $3000 annual award for museum book buyers in the memory of the late museum store buyer Robert Scott Brooks, "an extraordinary book buyer," who died of AIDS-related illnesses in 1995.
Buyers from U.S. and Canadian museum stores that sell art and art-related books are eligible. The award can be used for inventory or for any bookstore activity and is not limited to D.A.P. books. Deadline for application is May 15. For more information contact Melonie York at D.A.P.; (212) 627-1999.
