Although some publishers have already had to issue shared markdowns on earlier titles, May will bring two more rush-releases on Princess Diana: HarperCollins/Cliff Street's The Diana I Knew by Mary Robertson, the American living in London who hired a young Diana as a part-time nanny; and St. Martin's Press's The Real Diana by Lady Colin Campbell, author of Diana in Private. Robertson's book is a loving, photo-laden tribute timed for Mother's Day; Campbell will discuss how Diana approached Campbell before Andrew Morton did to be her official biographer and "was no saint and certainly no angel."
