Klein, Fantera in New DD Spots

Judy Klein has been named editor-in-chief of the Literary Guild, and Sharon Fantera was promoted to editor-in-chief at Doubleday Book Club, in two new appointments announced by Doubleday Direct.

Klein came from Farrar, Straus &Giroux, where she was v-p and publishing director of paperbacks, as well as executive director of sub rights. Fantera, who was a senior editor, will continue to be responsible for all club acquisitions.

Both women will report to v-p and editorial director Roger Cooper.
