PW: FAB Book Awards Need Your Vote

The FAB Awards honor books that focus on fringe and alternative culture; that "challenge our limits or maybe even piss us off," said FAB organizer and K n Books key accounts manager John Davis. Books from small or large publishers released in 1997 are eligible.

The winners will be announced at the FAB Do, a ceremony to be held Saturday night, May 30, during the BEA Convention in Chicago, at the Crobar nightclub. Invitations are required but are free and can be obtained at the FAB sponsors' booths at BEA or acquired in advance by voting. K n Book Distributors also will supply ballots (fax 800-225-3840).
