Burke will lead NAL

Louise Burke has been named senior v-p and publisher of New American Library, while continuing as executive director of trade paperbacks for the Berkley Group.

Announcing her new role, Berkley president David Shanks said Burke will be in charge of publishing operations for all mass market imprints at NAL, including Signet, Signet Classics, Mentor, Onyx, Topaz and Roc.Burke has been with the Berkley group for 19 years, most recently as deputy publisher.
