Amanda Quick's latest, With This Ring, is doing particularly well at the national chains, landing among the top 10 spots. Bantam's first printing for the historical romance was 160,000 copies. This is the 12th consecutive national bestseller for Quick, who has more than 30 million copies of her books in print. She also writes bestselling contemporary romances under the name Jayne Ann Krentz and futuristic romances under the name Jayne Castle. Her newest book under the Castle nom de plume is Orchid. Pocket Books is the publisher, and here, too, the briskest sales are at the national chains.
