NYU Panel to Look At Euro Market

An all-day conference on the "Economics of the European Book Market" will take place at the Elmer Holmes Bobst Library at New York University, 70 Washington Square South, New York City, on June 18.

The conference, held under the auspices of NYU's Center for Publishing, will include Peter Mayer; Richard Charkin, new CEO of Macmillan London; John Sargent; agent Georges Borchardt; Knopf rights director Carol Janeway; and Bertelsmann Books Online chief executive Chip Austin.
