Malachy McCourt's A Monk Swimming hit the Melbourne Age bestseller list in Australia in the #1 spot. The book is also leading the nonfiction list in the Bay Area, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. Meanwhile, the author has finished his month-long tour, during which he enjoyed standing-room-only book signings. Upcoming is an "At Lunch With" piece in the New York Times, an AP interview and a WOR Radio/Bob Grant Show segment. The Hyperion bestseller has 200,000 copies in print after five trips to press.
