Crown Talking to Ingram

As Crown Books begins the process of reorganizing under the protection of Chapter 11, it is negotiating with Ingram Book Co. for the wholesaler to supply the chain with inventory. Crown president Anna Currence said, "We must work with Ingram," if the company is to survive. But because of its bankruptcy, the final terms of any agreement between Crown and Ingram must be approved by the creditors' committee as well as the bankruptcy court.
