Berkley's Winning Trio
-- 8/10/98

Berkley boasts two star players in the #10 spot for the second week in a row. On the mass market list, it's Arthur Hailey with Detective; the book has 885,000 copies in print after four trips to press. Kurt Vonnegut's Timequake is in the same spot on the trade paper charts, with 95,000 copies in print after four weeks. And right below the top 15 list is Terry McMillan's How Stella Got Her Groove Back, with 1.5 million copies in print. The Twentieth Century Fox movie opens August 14 starring Angela Bassett as Stella.
