Rothberg to S&S

Simon &Schuster has named Adam Rothberg vice-president, director of corporate communications. Rothberg, who most recently served as associate publisher and director of publicity for Villard, will join S&S January 25. His appointment rounds out the corporate staff built by S&S president Jack Romanos following the sale of all of the company's nontrade businesses. Rothberg, who began his publishing career in 1985 in the publicity department of Pocket, will report to Romanos.
