Hirschberg to MHC

Henry Hirschberg, who resigned earlier this month as president of the Higher Education Group for Pearson's education division (News, Jan. 11), joined the McGraw-Hill Cos. January 18 as group president, Higher Education, Professional and International Publishing. In this newly created position, Hirschberg is charged with increasing sales of MHC's education and professional products worldwide. He reports to Robert Evanson, executive v-p of MHC's Educational and Professional Publishing Group.

Reporting to Hirschberg are Jeffrey A. Sund, president of M-H Higher Education; Theodore Nardin, group vice-president of the MHC Professional Book Group; Kenneth Filbin, president of M-H Lifetime Learning; and Kevin O'Brien, president, International Publishing.
