Sand Lands at HCI

Health Communications Inc. has appointed Thomas Sand to the new post of vice-president/general manager. Sand's responsibilities will include international publishing, children's and educational publishing, magazine publishing, new media and new media development, along with his overall duties as general manager. Prior to moving to HCI, Sand was senior v-p and general manager of Grolier; most recently he was president of the Children's Market Consulting Group. He will report to HCI president Peter Vegso.
