Sidrane Leaves U.S. Media Holdings

-- Publishers Weekly, 2/1/1999

After an 11-month stint as president and CEO of U.S. Media Holdings, Michelle Sidrane has resigned from those posts, although she will remain a consultant to the board. U.S. Media Holdings is the parent company of Stewart, Tabori &Chang, Smithmark and Golden Turtle Press. U.S. Media executives credited Sidrane with leading the integration of the three units.

At press time, no one had been named to replace Sidrane and a spokesperson said U.S. Media executives were developing a new management structure. Until the new structure is in place, Skip Fischer, chief operating officer of U.S. Media, will head the executive management team, which also includes Leslie Stoker, publisher of both ST&C and Smithmark, and Abbie Williams, publisher of Golden Turtle.
