DeFiore Forms Management Co.

Brian DeFiore, formerly a senior v-p of Random House and publisher of its Villard Books division and, before that, editor-in-chief at Hyperion, has formed DeFiore and Company Author Services. The new literary management and book-development company opened its New York City office today, March 8. According to DeFiore, the new company will work with authors to strategize career plans, create editorial identity, craft manuscripts and orchestrate marketing campaigns.
