Lisa Queen Rises at William Morrow

Lisa Queen, a 21-year Morrow veteran, has been named the company's new editorial director, taking over the responsibilities of former editor-in-chief Betty Kelly, who became editor-at-large last month. Queen will continue as v-p and associate publisher of Morrow's adult trade division as well as director of sub rights.Publisher Michael Murphy said Queen, who joined the company in 1978, "has been an essential part of the team that has reinvigorated William Morrow's adult trade division. She has exquisite taste and will be instrumental in further shaping Morrow's fiction and nonfiction lists."
