Pattis to Head NTC/Contemporary

Mark Pattis has been named chairman of NTC/Contemporary Publishing Group, the supplementary education and trade publishing division of Tribune Co. In the newly created position, Pattis will focus on strategic planning and business development for NTC/Contemporary and assist Tribune Education in group development efforts.

With Pattis's promotion, Gary Facente, NTC/Contemporary vice-president, international and business development, has been named general manager of the group and will oversee the unit's day-to-day operations. He will report to Pattis.
