PW: Northern Lights Temporarily Closes

A late-January fire in the four-story building next to Northern Lights Bookshop & Cafe in St. Johnsbury, Vt., has caused severe damage to the store, the New England Booksellers Association reported. Three people residing in the building died in the fire, and the building burned to the ground.

Caroline De Maio of Northern Lights told NEBA that the store lost all its inventory and its building is being evaluated for structural integrity. De Maio hopes to get back into the building and re-open in one or two months.
