PW: PEN Nominees Announced

The five nominees for the 2000 PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction were announced last week. They are Frederick Busch for The Night Inspector (Harmony), Ha Jin for Waiting (Pantheon), Ken Kalfus for PU-239 and Other Russian Fantasies (Milkweed), Elizabeth Strout for Amy and Isabelle (Random House) and Lily Tuck for Siam: Or the Woman Who Shot a Man (Overlook Press).
