Brannigan to Head Chivers N A

Effective October 1, Jim Brannigan took the helm as president of Chivers North America, publisher of unabridged audiobooks for the U.S. library market and a subsidiary of BBC Worldwide. "I am excited about this unexpected opportunity and looking forward to the challenge of growing an already solid business," he said in a recent statement.
Brannigan had most recently been president of the consulting firm Brannigan & Associates and prior to that held posts with McGraw-Hill, Waldenbooks and HighBridge Audio. He is also a past president of the Audio Publishers Association.
