Two Children's Books Recalled

Random House, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, is recalling about 39,000 copies of the board book Monsters in the Closet, a tie-in to the movie Monsters, Inc. The Spanish-language edition, Monstruos en el clóset, is also being recalled. The books went on sale in October 2001. On February 12, also in cooperation with the CPSC, Disney Press announced the recall of about 5,180 copies of Zowie's 123, a board book tie-in to the Rolie Polie Olie TV series.
