Pellegrini Named CEO at BookZone

Bryan Pellegrini, formerly v-p of sales and marketing at S3 Publishing Technologies, has been named CEO of BookZone. Pellegrini succeeds former BookZone CEO Mary Westheimer, who will now take over responsibilities as chairman of the board. Through its Web site, BookZone.com, BookZone offers a wide variety of consulting resources and e-publishing services to small and medium-sized publishers.
Westheimer told PW that she will now spend her time on "more strategic thinking and representing BookZone at public events. We've been growing into the midsized publishing market, and bringing in Bryan will be a good move for us. He brings a lot of experience in software development for the publishing industry."
Before joining S3 Publishing, Pellegrini was executive v-p of Computing Information Services.
