Prima in Deal with NewsMax

Encouraged by Regnery Publishing's recent run of bestsellers that champion conservative causes, Random House's Prima Publishing imprint has signed an agreement with NewsMax Media to publish and market a line of cobranded books.
Under the agreement, Prima will handle the editorial, marketing, sales and distribution of the series while NewsMax, based in West Palm beach, Fla., will promote the books through its Web site, newsmax.com, and magazine NewsMax, which support conservative views. The series will also draw on authors who contribute to the magazine and Web site. The first book in the series, The Greatest Speeches of Ronald Reagan, is due out in January.
