Grabois Gets New Post at R.R. Bowker

Andrew Grabois, formerly managing director of R.R. Bowker's bibliographic products, has been promoted to the newly created position of senior director of publisher relations and content development.
In his new position, Grabois will work with publishers to revamp and simplify the communication of title information that is sent from publishers to Bowker and, in turn, to the company's retail and library customers. Grabois will also be responsible for enhancing the content for Books in Print, including the addition of more cover images, title descriptions, author biographies and tables of contents to the database.
Grabois joined Bowker in 1981 and held a number of editorial positions there over the next 11 years. He then served in various management positions until being promoted to managing director of Bowker's bibliographic products in 1998.
