'Lucky Man,' Says He

by Daisy Maryles -- Publishers Weekly, 4/15/2002

Michael J. Fox's first foray as a writer, Lucky Man: A Memoir, lands in the coveted #1 slot after less than a week in the stores. Hyperion has 675,000 copies after two trips to press, and the beloved thespian was all over national TV during that first week. Since going public about his battle with Parkinson's disease, Fox has devoted much energy and resources to the search for a cure. All his proceeds from Lucky Man will be donated to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
