Wiley Adds Two to Int'l Unit

John Wiley & Sons expanded its international presence last month with the acquisitions of A&M Publishing Ltd. of Guilford, U.K., and GIT Verlag GmbH of Darmstadt, Germany. Terms weren't disclosed.
A&M Publishing publishes journals and directories for the pharmaceutical and health-care industries. Annual revenues are about $7.5 million. GIT Verlag publishes controlled circulation, technical magazines and yearbooks for both the industry and academia in the chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, security and engineering industries. Annual sales are approximately $10 million.
