June Is for Junie

Random House Books for Young Readers is spotlighting its Junie B. Jones series by Barbara Park, illus. by Denise Brunkus, with a "June Is Junie Month" promotion. The publisher has created a bookstore event kit with stickers, bookmarks and reproducible activity sheets.

In addition, Random House is sponsoring an art contest for which entrants draw and color a picture of Junie and give the #1 reason they love the character; the grand prize is an original piece of Brunkus's art and a set of Junie B.
