'Good in Bed' Author Even Better

by John F. Baker -- Publishers Weekly, 6/10/2002

Atria Books, in the person of senior editor Greer Hendricks, has solidified its relationship with Jennifer Weiner, author of the current paperback bestseller Good in Bed. Hendricks signed Weiner to another two-book deal for world English rights, worth well into seven figures, with agent Joanna Pulcini. Still to come under the previous contract is In Her Shoes, due from Atria in September. The new contract covers Jezebel Bright, for publication in 2004, and Hesitation Waltz, a sequel to Weiner's first hit, a year later. Atria partnered in the deal with S&S in the U.K., where Weiner was first successfully published in 2000. It also includes first serial, audio and electronic rights; foreign rights are handled by Linda Michaels.
