Fehr to Head Smithsonian Press

Perseus Press publishing director Don Fehr will move to the Smithsonian Institution Press July 8, where he will serve as director. Fehr will leave his position at Perseus Press, which is the U.K. arm of Perseus, and as executive editor of Basic Books, to take over for Peter Cannell, who died last month (see p. 18). Among the authors Fehr has worked with are Kevin Phillips, Strobe Talbot, Thomas Fleming and Lance Morrow.
