Jackie Collins is celebrating her 22nd national bestseller: Deadly Embrace, launched by Simon & Schuster with a 200,000-copy printing. Collins boasts sales of more than 300 million copies in 40 countries. The author's media card is filled and includes national talk shows (Today, The View, Entertainment Tonight, etc.), as well as appearances on financial TV programs to discuss the business of being a bestselling author. Still to come is a CBS Sunday Morning profile in July or August, as part of a summer series on bestselling authors. Also, to coincide with A&E's 15th anniversary, a program scheduled for October 15 features Collins as one of the "15 Sexiest People in the 20th Century"; she had already been named "sexiest writer of the 20th century."
